Do any of u women out there prefer dating a man who is taller than u, if u are between 5ft - 5ft 5 ins would u prefer a man 5 ft 9 and up, or it does not matter? If u hear a woman say that she prefers a tall guy would u think she was shallow?

i am 5'5" and I would not date a guy who was 6 feet or under. i like tall men. So? lol

Shallow? No. she just has high expectations. No person is perfect. You cant control who your attracted too, small, short, tall. Who cares.

I would say that everyone has different preferences. Too me, the heighth thing dosent matter. My ex was well over 6 ft tall, and my new guy stands about 5'5 , as tall as i am, but what he makes up for is those strong gorgeous shoulders, arms, and thick, muscly legs from riding that Harley! he is stout,and strong, and I so love that!

Nope. I'm not a shallow person at all but he would have to be one special guy for me to be interested in someone shorter then me...especially since I'm only 5'3 lol...to be honest I'm actually glad I'm short...higher (no pun intended) chances of finding someone taller

Hell no your not shallow! I'm a woman who is 5'8, I would never marry a man shorter than me. I just don't feel like a short man is manly enough for me. My husband is 6' which I love because I can still wear those sexy killer heels!!!

I find that the majority of men prefer women who are *gasp* shorter than they are. I think it's the way we are biologically geared. I'd be willing to date shorter men (I had, once). I'm 5'7".

i'm 5'3, and am most attracted to pretty tall guys, but i wouldn't rule out a guy just because he's not really tall. it just depends on how attracted i am.

I am 5'2" and I tend to like guys that are over or about 5'11". I am friends with a guy who is only a little taller than me and I think I may be interested in going out with him, but it is difficult for me to imagine...because of the height factor.

I'm 5ft4 and the majority of guys who like me are above me and way taller into the realms of 6ft4 or more! Once there is chemistry, you're on! I don't go for guys shorter though...makes me feel like they're my sons...no offence.

No, not at all. Its a matter of taste. Personally, I'm 5'2 and I prefer a taller man only because there's very few options for men shorter than myself.

When it comes to real Love, height really has nothing to do with it. That being said. All the guys I have dated and married were taller than me. Hubby #1 was 6'7" and #2 was 5'7" and #3 was 6'5". I am 5'2". My special someone is 6'3". So the pattern continues. I think my second husband was the shortest man I have been involved with.

But one never knows what Love has in store for them. Love comes in all sizes shapes and forms so if I was in the looking department, I would not turn a guy down just because he is short. I'm sure almost any guy is taller than me. My special guy calls me "a short little outfit!" lol He said he has not even seen a shower that is as short as the one I have. I'm 5'4", and most of the men I've dated have been between 5'10"-6'1". I don't plan this it all it just happens to turn out this way.

I don't think anyone should have to explain why they prefer anything in a person. It's their choice in who they find pleasing to them and that is all that matters.

I am a 5'9 gal... I have always been with taller men...ALWAYS. I met this guy who is 5'6 and have never been so comfortable and laughed so hard... BUT I don't know what I think because I have never dated a short man and feel like an ass in public.
