Of course ... of course ... of course!
This is the state for such a huge % of Church converts.
But it is a terribly risky move for the Mormon to make, seeing that more than 90% never join the Church, and an even smaller % finally prepare themselves and enter the Temple!
This needs to be foremost remembered when even considering such a move.
I have seen just so many young ladies so convinced that the Lord had told them he would one day join the Church, only to find he never really does, or on occasions, joins simply to get the nod from the girl, but fades off completely within months.
    Terribly risky ... terribly risky!
Because If the spouse never joins, what will become of any children to the marriage?!!

They sure can! I've known many many couples who fit this scenario and were sealed after the other converted.

Under normal circumstances, a couple may be be sealed one year after baptism or one year after they were married - whichever is later.

i once broke into the Mormon temple in northwest reno... it was the most calm i have ever felt... i don't know it they have the best beliefs but the feeling inside the gates(which i was probably not worthy of according to them) was unexplainable... it felt like there was no other sound that existed outside the fences i had jumped. even though the sites extended towards the downtown casino's. it was a very strange feeling... but a good one!

Of course. It is very common for people who marry outside the church, or who join the church at a later time to have their marriage sealed in the temple. Philosophically it's similar to people who marry before a judge deciding later on they want to take vows in church. At that time the point is the religious ordinance, not the legal ceremony.

yes but it is not advisable. the adversary works harder on you because you are coming close to making unbreakable godly bonds with your spirit fiance and tempral husband/wife. and once you make those covenants you are blessed and endowed and you are worthy for the celestial kingdom

Yes. The couple must wait a year and be worthy to enter the temple.
