  • ya we could but wouldnt be as fun!!! i bet its a huge number!
  • pretty much any of them that dont require an opinion based answer. like "whats 2 plus 2?". that is definately a factual question. im right with you. some of this is absolutely assenine.
  • i find a lot of answers for people by doing a quick search-is funny as sometimes i get a neg rating for doing so-cool question---smile and enjoy the day-take two
  • At least half of them, for sure...
  • There's a lot of questions I've asked that I could've googled, or did google. A lot of the time there is so much to go through when you google before you find some good solid answers to your questions. I ask on here instead because there are those who's opinion that I trust to point me to a reputable website or to give me a good answer faster than if I googled and mucked through the thousands of websites that all have different info on the same thing.
  • Just put it this way: If people knew how to use Google, Answerbag wouldn't exist.
  • I'm sure the Answerbag people are thinking google should direct people here so they pull in revenue. You can bet those "questions we can eliminate" will all be Googled one day and Answerbag just might come up in the search results.
  • As many as two - or more!
  • a lot I guess. A lot of the questions are specific and have emotion... google will not give you answers about these questions.
  • I agree, sometimes we want more than the standard answer, variations, humor, twisted humor and wit all of which are lacking on google. For example google could give me an answer on making chicken noodle soup but the same question here would give me tons of different recipes, tips and even make me question if chicken noodle soup should be made at all...lol.
  • I'm sure we could eliminate about 70% of the questions if people used google. I am sure there is a samll percentage who doesn't know how to use it at all. Then there is another small percentage but probably slightly larger one that knows how to use it but can't be bothered sorting through pages and pages of information just to get the answer they want. Then there is the majority like myself who know how to use google but don't not out of laziness but because we like the social interaction and different people coming together and giving their views on what they believe is the correct answer.
