i guess as long as the can isnt open anywhere. even i eat from dented cans and i live to tell the tale! x

No, no, no. Dented cans are a sure sign of disease, possibly the plague. I once gave my cat a can of Bumblebee tuna with a slight dent, not knowing this, and in the morning there were 9 dead cats strewn about in my house, and I only had one cat! Also, don't eat from dented cans yourself. Dented human food like soup and refried beans can contain shards of glass and leukemia. (Tuna is cat food, as far a dented cans are concerned. Protect yourself, your children, and most importantly, protect your cat. Stay away from dented cans.

take two-should be safe-when you open it is easy to tell if it was still intact-if any sign of leakage wouldnt recommend for cats or people--hope this helps--smile and enjoy the day
-
As long as the cans are not punctured or open in any way the can is fine. If the can has rust it should not be sold but other wise it is fine. Look at the USDA website if you have any concerns.
-
Open it, taste it, if it is ok then give it to ur cat
-
If the food was untainted, yes...if not no.
-
Yes just like we humans do. Usually dented cans are pulled way before they have time to go bad.
-
Usually no; get the damaged good discount; Microsoft went down two points.
-
Dented cans are not a problem. As long as the can is not punctured.
-
A dented can isn't by itself dangerous unless it's punctured. The denting may cause cracks in the interior coatings of the can, which can lead to faster failure; so the product will have shorter life. The contents of a swollen can on the other hand can kill humans or animals.
-
Yes they can but you must make sure that you take a good look at the can and make sure none of the seams has been broken open allowing air to get inside.
-
Sure, a dent means nothing. Only if the can has been broken or cut is there any danger.
-
Sure, just don't let your kitty see the dent.
