Help answer this question below.

How come I have asked several questions and even answered one that said I was going to get points, 7 I think for the answer but I still only show a "1" by my name? Do I need to do something to get credit for my questions and answers?

    The 1 by your name is likely just your level, especially if you are newer to AB. As you get points, and level up that number will change.

    Those 7 points will show up , you can read up on everything , by going to Levels and Ranks / Answers and Ratings -- There are long list you can read through -- And Welcome to Answerbag

    give good input to an answer and i guess that way you get pts. the higher the level of the person who rates you, the more points you get. [ex i can give up to 3 pts because of my level, but some ppl can give up to 6 points...]
