Why does obscure 2 crash after I save for the first time, kill the first reality boss, take key from his body and head back to that corridor?

Hi i fine the problem after you save and kill the monster before go on front door change the joystick to keyboard when you in the hall change the keyboard to joystick me got no problem for that. Is call a bug we d'ont have patch i hope is soon

Thanks BarracudaZombie!I had the same problme, where the game will crash before i reach the door. It took me awhile to get it to work, andh here is how I did it: Have your keyboard and gamepad ready. First, get the keyboard to control the guy, and use him to get the gun (lock number is 1873). After you get the gun, go out and kill the monster in the hall, and use the guy to get the key from the heart. Now, switch to the girl, and use her to go up to the door or the spot where the game crashes. Just before you cross that "crash point," switch your control from keyboard to gamepad, and you will be able to pass the "crash point" with no problem. Now, just use the girl to open the door. When you reach the stairs, then you can switch your control back!

I tried what jason said but the real answer is that obscure 2 crashes beacause of the bugs for the control of the joystick, if you don't want more crashes you play with the keyboard or avoid it at least in the places where it screws it up. Hope i had helped u.
