  • There are many excellent internet sites with the full story, but I can tell you what I think. the short term negatives are that you won't know what is happening, or where you are being controlled by the medication or where you aren't. Also, short term, no one, not even the doctor, knows what the proper dose is for your body. the long term side effects of most medications are unknown because they have not been around long enough, and because it depends on how long you take it. However, there are bound to be some, because you are altering your natural cycles.
  • Anti-depressants are not a cure. You have to be willing to put the hard work in to make yourself better. You have to find out what makes you depressed and learn to live with it. Hard but the truth. There are no easy answers its up to you.
  • Not being depressed anymore? lol. Ive been on probably...10-15 anti depressants in my life.Shit load of side effects, im a very frail sickly weak kid, im only 17, and my body has been...raped..by prescription meds. But my sanity was more important.
