  • She is a member of your family, there are 24 hour emergency vet services. Would you wait until morning if it was your daughter?
  • research Rabis? but that is highly unlikely andi hope ur dog dusnt have rabis! hope it is nothing serious when u do find out though.
  • my dog did that too. he died 2 days later of a tumor.
  • I did a quick search on Google, and I found this: http://pet.justanswer.com/vet/3vd4-dog-vomiting-foam-lately-today-husband Don't know how much help that is to you, but good luck with your dog.
  • I'm glad to hear that you are taking her to a vet, thats the best way, until then keep her walm and calm and try to get her to drink plenty of water, I hope shes ok, let us know :-)
  • Parasites could be the culprit. I'd say limit food intake, and be sure to offer plenty of water. Take her temp as well, be sure she doesn't have a fever. Normal is around 101 to 102 F. If she has a fever maybe look for emergency nvet services in your area. Best of luck, hope she's feeling better tomarrow.
  • Thank you for your advice....Called her vet. He said she probably has a upset stomach. Take all food and water away til tonight and give her a teaspoon of Pepto Bismol. He thinks that will fix it since she is acting fine.
  • White foam is almost always just BILE. Many dogs produce too much acid in the stomach if they are normally fed only once a day. My Hannah also had this problem (it started when she was about a year old AFTER we reduced her daily feed from 2 times to once a day). Hannah and Patch were switched BACK to a twice a day feeding with half the total daily kibble in the morning and the other half (with added spoon of canned, and or yogurt, and/or plain canned Pumpkin, or other left over meat or some veggie scraps added to the evening meal. In Hannah's case, problem solved. Her bile was white, and sometimes sort of yellow in color. It is possible you girl got into SOMETHING she should not have...it happens on occasion...Kitty Rocha can also cause Hannah to puke up bile...(almost causes ME to toss my cookies too...ACK!) If you have a digital thermometer, or an anal one (old mercury type, like you would use on a baby or small child) You can (with help) take her temp if you want to. Normal should be between 100.4 and 102.2 unless she has just been running and playing a bunch...then it would be higher.
  • Yeah, no worries. My dog goes out in the back yard every morning does her business and thend proceeds to eat a little grass and then throw up white foamy bile. Vet says it's totally normal. Take care!
