    yes, it depends for people, like i gained weight but my friend lots some weight, but she has other stuff going on as well, that would make her lose weight.

    Weight change is a side affect of birth control pills. Here is an article listing other side affects of taking the birth control pill.

    I was always under the assumption that birth control pills caused weight loss, but I guess it depends on the person. So to answer your question, yes weight gain could be a side affect.
