No. It's gonna be better. Leno is the only one laughing at his own jokes. Conan actually has a personality. People over 60 will hate it, but it should be good. Leno could never fill Carson's shoes. The new shoes shouldn't be hard to fill.

It took me a while to get used to Jay Leno,and even with Jay there is such a loss of expertise and entertainment with the TONIGHT SHOW.... JOHNNY WAS THE BEST, however, I do like JAY LENO's show and to know he is leaving...well that is sad, and a big mistake on the part of the producers. I CAN NOT STAND CONNAN OBRIAN. In my opinion he is too STUPID, and SUPER SILLY with no string of TALENT, and BORING AS HELL, and A PLAIN IDIOT!!! He has to constantly shake that ridiculous hair of his in order to get a laugh. None of it is funny. And he's weird! He couldn't be serious about anything for more than 20 seconds. HE is just UNAPPEALING in every way!
He has no interviewing skills whatsoever, and I will never watch his show and I don't care who he has on as a guest! I'd rather have a good bowel movement or go to the dentist for a root canal before I would waste one moment of my precious time watching a second of his sorry-ass show! Period!
I think a lot of folks feel the same way, and JAY LENO will be missed!

no. I will miss him when he finishes in 2009,I will not watch the tonight show anymore when conan takes over. I don't like conan,he is really irrirataing.

I really like Johnny too. I have seen it a few times with Leno and I hardly ever laugh. I do like Conan, I will await his first shows and see what happens.

I didn't even know he was leaving. I'm not too keen on Conan but I'm with everyone else; Carson was the greatest. You can rent those episodes now; they're great.
Esp. the one where Bill Cosby guests and does a routine about Trifocals!

People asked the same thing when Johnny Carson was getting ready to leave the Tonight Show. I think the format and the ideas will be a little different. The humor and the great guests will stay the same.

I don't consider myself over the hill and I remember Johnny Carson, I was pretty young so I probably didn't get most of the jokes. I like Leno, but it's getting old. I prefer Letterman anyhow.
