I would try to take him and raise him if he was just a baby. If he was a grown up, I wouldn't kill him becuase he would need to stand trial for all the filthy things he did.

No. Temporal mechanics is a touchy thing. Trying to alter the past can have extreme results. If I could time travel into the past, all I would do is secretly watch history happen, but I would be absolutely certain I did not alter anything.

Interesting question. One could understand such a noble intent, but I tend to agree with Takei-Shihan's answer. There's no way of knowing whether your action would simply correct a grave mis justice or create a series of equally disastrous events. At least, that's what I've come to believe from watching Star Trek episodes.

in a heartbeat-dont know if it would make things better but i couldnt turn down the chance to try---just my thoughts-smile and enjoy the night

No, Hitler may have been bad, but you never know what might have happened if he hadn't been there. Germany might have gotten a more intelligent leader, someone who could have fought WWII to victory...For Germany.

adolf hitler was doomed from the day he was born.whom would have written about today if he was killed as ababy?
-
I'm not much for changing history, anyway....
-
No, you never know what would replace him
-
Of course not, I would steal him out of his cradle and show him the kind of love he needed to become a productive citizen.
-
No. He was abused, blah blah blah by his father. So, is it possible that that created the monster? No other way to see but to try. But someone brought up the good point of you dunno what'll change o.O
-
babies are sweet, how come u think killing ;-D
-
This is too easy. Of course almost anyone would kill Hitler. If it were your only option, would you kill Hitler's mother before he's born? Would you kill baby Michael Jackson because he might abuse children later? Would you kill baby G.W. Bush? You're talking about Hitler, a man responsible for millions of deaths. Let's not make the question so easy. Would you kill a young Leonard Price, a man whose crime was to kill a man? Thus keeping the 77 year old he murdered during a burglary alive, but making you now the one who has murdered an innocent. Where is the line drawn? How bad is bad enough to kill a baby and feel good about it? That's an interesting question.
-
Maybe raise him differently? It's nature *and* nurture, ain't it? ;-)
-
If I KNEW that there was no chance that things would turn out differently and he was going to be the monster he grew up to be, yes. If there was ANY chance of steering him in another path and making him a different man... no.
-
no id kick his father out of his life adolf was a victim of very extreme child abuse from his father i dont doubt for a second that his fathers abuse was the main reason he grew to be so bitter
-
I don't think I would. Lessons are learned from horrible things like this. The world would probably be worse off now if we didn't have the tragedy of the holocaust. It opened our eyes and continues to shape us and our world to this day.
-
That question might best be asked of a Holocaust survivor..?
