Are you talking about Obama?
-
Is it a good idea to base decisions like that on what someone's name sounds like? That doesn't seem like a very rational basis for choosing a President to me.
-
ask your average iraqi or afgan what name sounds like a terrorist
-
I do question the logic behind it. Would someone named Edsel stand a chance as a presidential candidate?
-
was it a good idea to have a president whos name is another word for a shrubbery?
-
I don't think their name has anything to do with how well they would be a president.
-
Ignorance is the only thing that would drive anyone not voting for him solely because his name sounds like a "terrorist"
-
I'm sure as hell not going to vote for him, but I would NEVER judge him or his ability to be the leader of the free world on the basis of his NAME. Sorry, but anyone who would question his qualifications to lead merely because they think his name sounds like it could be a terrorists should be kicked upside the head with a steel toed boot in hopes it'll knock a little sense into them. Ignorance, prejudice, racism, and STUPIDITY are never flattering, folks.
-
I thought about that too!
-
Well George Bush is a sound name....very American...and look where that got us......
-
Hopefully we're enlightened enough to know better.
-
Why would his name matter. It's what he stands for that counts. I think it's kind of silly to rule someone out because their name sounds like a terrorist.
-
he's black, no way he's going to become president, not racist, just reality!
-
well, 2 of the whitest states voted for him tremendously.
-
Obama is way too kind to be a terrorist. It's not his fault his name is almost spelled the same as Osama. Would it be a good idea? Well, if he is able to benefit America, then YES!
