The Cherry Orchard, or any other Russiam classics. they are too wordy for me.

I would not recommend anything by Thomas Hardy either.

I just do not enjoy authors that use fifty words where one would do the same work.

I read this book called "Eva", I have no idea how I got through it... it was about a girl who was in a major accident and her brain was put in a chimp's body... thank you crazy aunt sue for giving it to me. LOL

Anything in the Left Behind series. I only got about halfway through the first one and it was torture the whole way.

There are lots of books I'll never read again because I didn't love them, and I don't recommend books I thought were only "okay." But there are some I'd steer people clear of.

"Wayfarer Redemption" by Sarah Douglass. I normally read books all the way to the end even if they aren't that great. I don't like to leave them unfinished. I couldn't get more than a third of a way through that book. UGH! The characters! The dialogue! I'll never be able to unread it. :(

Another is Merlin something or something Merlin by T. A. Barron. I _heard_ it gets better after the first one, but I'd have to reread the first one to know what's going on. It wasn't so much the story that bothered me, but the writing style.

I hated "Memoirs of a Geisha" and the His Dark Materials trilogy, too.
