NO, because you can not use religion to advance science! The term "oxymoron" ring any bells?

Utopia means an ideal place or state, or any visionary system of political or social perfection. which it contradictory (hopefully not purposely) to your topic of novel. furthermore, it was already a book from the early 1500's by Sir Thomas More about a perfect imaginary island. however much i disagree with the whole global warming fiasco, you need a new title. and i would definately give it a chance to read. Every book deserves a chance.

Doubtful, because it's based on a false premise (i.e.; "global warming").

Global warming, and cooling, has been occurring since the planet first formed.

The current "warming trend" we're experiencing is an average of ONE degree Centigrade over a period of a CENTURY.

The last time temperatures were this high was in the Middle Ages -- and we all know how many SUV's people were driving back THEN.

And there have been periods in Earth's history when the oceans were some twenty degrees warmer than today, and there were NO permanent polar ice caps.

These simple facts beg the questions:

Just how much control over the Earth's climate could we have, even if we WANTED to?

    and

Exactly what is the "correct" temperature for the planet, anyway?

Hi, I am the original author of this question (there doesn't seem to be a way to update this question and respond to those who have answered it other than 'post comment' underneath each answer but it won't verify my e-mail address so I can't answer you individually)

Basically the plot has changed alot since writing this although it's complicated so I won't go into it now. The concept has changed somewhat and will no longer include the global warming theme (because I also think it is scaremongering) and science and religion DO have a connection even if that connection is through their opposites. Thanks to everyone

Possibly. It has an interesting premise. I guess the reviews would sway me to read it pretty easily, if they were good.

Why are you duplicating the name of an already famous book with a similar theme? Don't you expect confusion with Thomas More's classic, which describes a logical, a-religious imaginary society.
