  • Make 50 using only five digits: 14+30+6 is fifty. There are many solutions to this question. EDIT: If you meant "make 50 using an arithmetical series using only five NUMBERS", there's still quite a collection of solutions, which include 2+6+10+14+18 to 8+9+10+11+12 EDIT TWO: Ah! The REAL puzzle is take any five numbers from the above sum and make fifty. Now I understand the other two answers I see here, which are both good. EDIT THREE: The REAL puzzle is impossible: a sum of five odd values is always odd. Which 50 isn't.

  • 1+3+10+19+17=50
  • simple, 5*x + 2+4+6+8 =50 therefore, 5*x = 30 there is no odd series, but 6+8+10+12+14 = 50 8+9+10+11+12 is a mix of even and odd
