It is a Cotton Swab Test. There is no blood test. What the doctors do is they look at the swab samples through the micorscope and analyse if yeast is causing the problem.

If you are referring to a vaginal yeast infection or an oral infection (thrush) it is just a swab test. However, it is possible to get a yeast infection in your upper and lower GI tract that can run rampant throughout your digestive system (a good friend of mine had this)...and in this case I do believe they run a blood test (among many others).
