Is someone a homosexual before they have sex with the same gender or after sex or does it matter?

• Yes but because you are attracted to them does that mean you have to act upon that feeling correct? Do your thoughts define you or do your actions?? I love to cuss but I refrain because of the result I don't want to be a person who cusses so I will not even though I have a strong urge to do so. Now because I favor cussing but I refuse to do it does that make me a person with a filthy mind?

• so...if I'm attracted to someone of the same gender, but never have sex, then I'm not homosexual? I'm not attracted to the opposite gender, so I'll never have sex with them. I'm lesbian because of genetics...the same reason I have blue eyes and I'm tall. If I "thought" about being short, would I be short? "thoughts" have nothing to do with my sexual orientation. it's just who I am.

• That's actually a very good question. According to the law, I don't think that makes you a killer. According to some religious text (for example, the Bible), it says in I John 3:15, "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." Another thing you might want to note is that Matthew 5:28 says, "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." I'm not sure I personally agree with those, but hopefully they help. They are examples of things that could be thoughts that are considered sin by 'God'. That's not exactly my point, though. I hope you understand what my point is. If not, please ask.

• Yes I love that you backed up your answer with Da Wurd now so will I kind of I don't have my bible. Now I believe in one of Pauls letters he explained that the thought of sin is the seed and the seed planted in soil lets it grow or bive birth to outward sin. Now I believe that Jesus said that if you think it you have already commited it because he knew what letting a thought rise up against the knowledge of Christ. The word also says that we are to capture every thought that rises up against the knowledge of Christ. Now my thoughts are a little scattered but I hope that I made some sense with my large paragraph. lol

• No, but this isn't about killing someone. It's about who you're attracted to. There is a difference between those two situations. You don't have to have sex with someone to be considered straight, gay or bi. You just have to show some attraction to them. This is about emotion, not the physical act.
