Awww. I wish for dreams when I sleep. They don't always come, but when they do ... look out! =)

Not really, but my wife does. There have been too many times to count, that I have woken up and she admits to being pissy with me because I did something in her dreams. Once, I have actually been woken up by her, with a slap to the arm. When I asked why she had to wake me like that, she told me that I had been a real ass in her dreams and she wasn't happy with me.

Oh no! Hahaha. Me too. I yell at mine in my sleep. I wake up and he's like, "So. That's how you feel, huh?" =)

last month i had one in which my boyfriend was going to die and somebody smashed my violin and pulled all the hairs out of my bow.
it gave me the creeps for a whole week, i felt like it may have been a see-the-future dream, and i felt like he was really in danger or something. it was terrible.
until i checked my violin and bow to see if they were all right. when i saw they were, the feeling of my boyfriend being in danger also stopped. i finally realised it was just a bad dream. i never felt so relieved in a long time.

just imagine that you are a kite... or spread your arms and see them change into bat wings. then imagine that there is enough wind...and whoosh, you are taken...

I must be lucky because I dream a lot about people who don't like me burying the hatchet with me and becoming my friends. I've had this dream come true a few times.

My most common dream is the quest type similar to the movie, The Searchers. When I wake up, I always feel like I never reached my destiny in the dream.

That's gotta be frustrating.
Avatar sm00z Jan, 10 2008 at 03:59 PM
True but better a quest than a nightmare.

I love them too, but sometimes they're pretty morbid. Or like you said, they are about people and you feel differently about them, even for a few minutes.
Avatar SaraMonster is preggo Jan, 10 2008 at 04:08 PM
yeah, that sucks. and sometimes when your dreams are about things you shouldn't dream about or at least something you wouldn't do in real life...then you feel badly. I know i do. I've been having dreams where I'm dating other people. Its so weird because I SO DONT WANT TO...wonder what it means
Avatar vet_theory Jan, 10 2008 at 04:11 PM
EXACTLY. What DOES it mean? We can't really rely on Freud. He's a nutjob too!

Just cause you're paranoid doesn't mean that the world isn't against you. ;-)

Lol well, firstly, i had a dream where a voice told me, that on the 15th(In my dream that day was called 'Atoontos Day' LOL xD sounds like a-toon-toss) =O of every month something really weird and unexpected would happen, and i didn't know, but when i actually looked at that day's date it *zomg* said the 15th!! =OOO i was so amazed and i asked myself "so does that mean that today something weird is going to happen??" And to my surprise it DID.. because on that day a friend which i hadn't talked to in ages just came and asked me if i wanted to sleep over, and i was in boarding and since in boarding everything had to be planned atleast a month before (-.-) it was highly unlikely that it would happen... but unexpectedly it DID happen =S lol. That really made me believe in dreams.

I have had a LOT of really weird and vivid dreams(and they are ALL recent! But I've been having vivid dreams my whole life) and i write them down everyday. The dreams that REALLY change my behavior in the waking life are the ones where something romantic happens with me and one of my guy friends haha XD. I then kinda like them in real haha xD *blush*. =P I already had 2 romantic dreams with 2 different guys and i like both in a romantic way a bit now xD haha =P. uh oh.. the power of dreams xD.

Like emotional dreams? yeah...i've had a few of those.Once I drempt I was in the bathroom at home and I was standing looking out the door at this kind of black 'figure' that was um...moving but not moving (lol) and there was this really horrible shreiking noise. I woke up and it was still going on in my head as if someone was drilling my head! I felt so horrible all the next day as well as having a nasty head ache.
