  • The US will revoke your American citizenship if you become a citizen of another country. However, if you are a Canadian citizen and become a US citizen, Canada will not revoke your Canadian citizenship, and can thus have dual citizenship. Sorry, that's the way it is.
  • If you have a parent who was a Canadian citizen at the time of your birth, I think you may be entitled to Canadian citizenship, but I don't think grandparents count.
