I have a questtion how do wild rabbits defen themselves from thier enemies?

    They have very heightened hearing and smell. Rabbits can feel foot steps, then they run fast. They are also well camouflaged and hide very well in bush

    Wild rabbits run and escape to a hole or thick briers. Rabbit populations can rapidly go up and down.

    Mostly they use those great big sound catchers, their ears, to hear predators coming their way. And they can run really fast into a safe place like brambles, brush or hole. If they get caught they have sharp claws and teeth that can draw blood (Yes, I know this by experience lol!) They also wiggle and throw there bodies around and will let out this blood curdling scream when grabbed by a predator:-)

    Just like the one in Monty Pythons "Holy Grail". I believe they can sever limbs.
