No, but the deep hacking cough of death accompanied by a fever seems to be on the rise... I think it's because of the change of weather so quickly from -10 and blizzard conditions to +11 and then back down to +1 with rain and sleet

Big time , our workplace is in chaos at the moment because of people off work. It's been around all over Christmas and the New Year. I live in Crawley , South England.

don't know about a flu, but lots of folks seem to be getting colds, sinus/ear infections, etc. I'm always dealing with allergies, but I recently had a cold. I get a flu shot every year now, so (*knocks on wood*) I haven't had that for quite a while. I'm in St. Louis. We were bitter cold at New Years, up to 73 F this past Sunday, now back to 30s and 40s. Enough to make anyone sick!

The stomach flu among other things! In fact, many of the hospitals here in Iowa are operating at full capacity!! People are being asked to go to their physician's offices or to walk-in clinics before going to the ER, unless it is a serious emergency. I have known several people to get the stomach flu, as well.

Yes in Southern Ontario , Everyone i know is sick and it has become a major issue, Hospitals are full and I myself am suffering from it, its been getting worse as the days go by, hopefully it wont stick around for long.

went around whole family, starts with headache, cramping, fever, chills, not everyone but some throwing up, loss of energy. Spread quickly, I'm into my 4th day & headache & craming still, it sucks

Here in Arizona, my stomach hurts so bad I can't take a deep enough breath to sneeze, I have to hold my whole body to turn over without my diaphragm spasming. Apparently something going around, my friend at the health center says she's making lots of appointments for symptoms like mine. Very weird "flu", I did vomit last night but it was sort of secondary, the major thing being I feel like my whole torso has been beaten with sticks.

The stomach flu just ripped through my household like a chain reaction! (Live in Souther California) There are three of us. When I got back to work, one of the managers was out sick because of it. In my house...lets just say we went through a lot of toilet paper. But the manager that is out, his roomate says it's been doing him dirty and coming out both ways! Poor guy! I'm on day 4 I don't feel achy anymore, no fever, all though I swear a heater was following me around at work, could be hormones! But my stomach isn't quite up to par yet. Just remember to drink lots of water, lots and lots of it! Keep hydrated, and unless you think you are gonna die...there really isn't much the doctor can do for you, it's a virus, let it run it's course and say "Thank God that is over!" When you feel better.

It seemed to affect quite a few people around here two weeks ago but I never got it nor any of my family and neighbors.
