The wear sandals all year round, and the style a like are strappy sandals eg Greek gladiator sandals, piper sandals etc. I've been told that they look gayish. Do you think guys look gay wearing sandals

Not necessarily, I guess it depends on the outfit you wear them with. My advice: no socks!

i think men have to carefully select the sandal as yes some do in fact make men look not gayish because you cant have a 'gay look' as such but they dont look great on men in all cases

Clothing does not make a person "look gay." Orientation is something that is inborn, like your eye color and whether you are left- or right-handed.

I don't think strappy sandals like the ones you mentioned should be worn by men, nor do I think ANYONE at all should wear socks with open-toe footwear. 'Normal' sandals make men look handsome with most outfits, although I believe flip flops are an abomination for men outside of their homes and water recreation.

Well its depend what kind they are and how they are worn. Men who wear sock and sandals look country. Also men who wear sandles that dont fit properly look kinda off. But you have to what wear for you. Like for me flip flop look better then sandals or slides.

All of my gladiator sandals look gayish so I guess I must look gay when I wear them. There is nothing wrong with looking gay as long as you look stylish. Besides you open yourself up to meet new people which can also be interesting.

Not gay per se, but in some contexts it can be a little gay. These sandals made things a little gayer than if he were barefoot.
