  • Could be the timing chain!
  • I changed the modulator...worked on my 1993 when i had no spark
  • first off stop replacing parts and test them, do you have voltage at the coil? if no the find out if the computer controls the spark or if the cam sensor does if its either one try replacing if the cam sensor then check to see if there is voltage going i or out of the plug if no voltage test computer if voltage goes in but not out replace the cam sensor.
  • i had the same problem and verythige check out fine but no spark i changed out the dist and and it started right up u might have to to the same as i did
  • My '88 GMC had the same problem. Intermittently it flat would not start. Changed out the plugs, distributer cap and rotor. Nope. Finally changed the ignition module and it fixed it.
  • underneath the rear of the dist cap there is a lil electric sensor change that and i advise you change the fuel filter to test that turn the key a few times not to start but where the key would be to run the engine do this five times then try to start it if it starts change the fuel filter under the driver seat along the fuel rail that really sounds like the prob so try that first then change the piece under the cap please rate my answer
