I have a black molly that just had babies. Did she have them all at once or over the course of a few days?

    yes,the first brood will have all been born at one time.Now as they store sperm&re-fertalise(at least3times)you can expect 2-3 more broods to follow at 28-30 intervals(your gonna have alot!)All from the one courtship..wow!
    Babie mollys first food should consist of baby brine shrimp&offer greenery,growth is very slow.Be aware that moving/netting the gravid female can lead to miscariage&aborting fry(not pretty)Best to set up a nursery tank.Keep female very well fed.Black live worms will help with birthing&maximum fry count.

    No, you molly will not have had her babies all at once, probablly took her a couple of hours, and there could be still some left =)
