Although the basic regulations are much the same everywhere, every curling association has its own variations on the rules of the game. Most of these are relatively minor, which allows curlers from all over the world to play against one another without many difficulties caused by these variations. The rules of the World Curling Federation are published in the "WCF Rules Handbook" and can be found at http://icing.org/game/rules/world/wcf/ruleplay.htm . These rules run some 10 pages of print - too long for inclusion here.
