When a new species is discovered, does its examination involve rectal probes by scientists? Why or why not? (Aliens do it; I’m just wondering what reasoning they're using.)

No, we don't do that with new species. I think they aliens use that method with humans because they know that's where a lot of people brains are.

Not rectal probes, no. But in the case of insects, species that may look quite similar are often distinguished by there genitalia, which can differ wildly in otherwise quite similar insects. So when a new species of insect is discovered, it is common to inspect its genitalia closely.

I think Aliens are just kinky that way.

We humans would just kill it and dissect it.
