    Floater

Because that's the rule for official play under ITTF organisation. The rule was brought in because some players were using different types of surface - one topspin and one antitopspin side- on the different faces of the bat, but with the same colour. Opponents had to guess what spin to expect. The games adminstration body decided this was not a good situation and imposed the two-colour rule. Read my book The Floater for a gripping story about the development of the bat materials.
