I usually expect a barrage of DRs anytime I answer an evangelical type of question, and I expected a HUGE amount of DRs when I answered a question stating that I prefered Eddie Vedder to Cobain (but suprisingly it didn't get any ;)

Yep! I know a lot of the times that I will get down rated on here for MY opinion! That's just how SOME of the people are on here...JUDGEMENTAL!

usually if it's about abortion (pro choice) and i answer i fear i will get downrated because normally the people asking the questions are pro life. but i am always respectful of what others choose to believe.

I submitted an answer I thought would be very unpopular about who was worse, a pothead or an alcoholic. Interestingly enough, I recently a barrage of comments from people who agreed with my answer and thanked me for expressing my sentiment.

I do it almost daily! Sometimes I get completely surprise, other times I get all the negative marks I expected! The one which realy stands out is something about what I think of the bible, and my answer is something like "its a work of fiction, just like HArry Potter or any Shakespear play" I got loads of negs but much more pluses on that one! lol

I definitely have. My religious and political beliefs sometimes are going to be ridiculed because I try to base my life on common sense, how I was raised, my education, and the teachings of the Bible. Anytime I answer a question concerning moral issues, gender issues, race issues, or politics sometimes the answer is going to be chastized.

I am always honest but I have to admitt that sometimes I give answers just to see how much I can piss people off(I always mark them as humorous but people take offense anyway...Lol) my current favorite downrate I got was a minus 5 for a fill in the blank question about what makes me upset about God...I answered that she cheats at checkers...and someone with a pretty high level on here actually got upset enough to DR me for it...Ha-Ha!
