As of this posting, there's no Maldives category expert. If I posted five homework questions about the Maldives, and a user answered all of them, and another user gave +6 to those answers, does the "do your homework" answerer become a Maldives expert?

If I understand it correctly the user who has answered the most questions or received the highest number of points in a particulat catagory becomes the catagory expert. so theoretically if the person who continues to answer do your own homework either has the highest number of answers or highset number of points in that catagory unfortunately they become the expert.

The person asking the questions will not gain any expert benefits. He will only supply the questions. The people answering are the people who can become an expert by getting enough points from at least 5 questions. A person asking wouldn't logically become an expert as they probably wouldn't know the answers:-)

Yes the most points from 5 questions will make the answerer an expert until another person overtakes them on the amount of questions and points. This is something that can change daily.

If I see an answer that states "do your own homework" Or, "google it" I flag it as nonsense. . As long as it isnt helpful, that person shouldnt be an expert in the category, and the answers should be removed. I hope others start to flag these types of answers, There are tons of them! ☺

Yes I suppose that person would be the Expert id nobody else answered the questions.
