My answers,comments and friends q&a have been lit up for the past 3 hours continuously,is that a new upgrade?

nope. if you go into "view my profile and activity" and at the top right click the button that says "mark all as read" this will turn the comments and answers light off... then do the same for friends Q&A. if they turn back on again, it means you are getting lots of answers and comments... or there is a glitch. :)

I did not observe this on my profile recently,so I would not assume a new upgrade from the AB software. It could happen for various reasons: - some new answers,comments and friends q&a have arrived and you did not read them. You would have to click on those which are marked as new to do this. It could also be possible that they are not on the first page. - some bug in the AB software, happening in some special configurations. I think something like this already happened to me. It disappeared after some time. - if you are sure that you have read all submissions, you can also use the "Mark all as read" link. - you could also try to reboot you computer to get rid of this (really reboot, no sleep mode) - problems could also happen because of a new upgrade of another program on you computer. Especially if you allow automatic internet upgrades for your programs, you cannot really control when this could happen. You could try to get back to a former configuration, but it could be risky...

Mine stays on like that , I haven't taken them off because I' don't want to miss someones comment if I've left the site for a day or so

That's interesting, because I've just gone through all of my comments pages as I haven't been getting notified, and responding to each one. The Comments light is still on, despite me having no more comments to repond to - I Marked All As Read - so maybe something's going on to do with the new Terms coming in...? EDIT: I am now getting all my notifications through! All however many to a page x6! Think I may have had a blockage somewhere!
