If you will go to a travel site like Orbitz or Travelocity, and mock up a flight, it should tell you exactly how long the flight is. There will probably be two flights.. connecting in Houston or Dallas, from SA to Orlando.

Between 3-4 hours I believe

Just a few hours (remember you'll lose 2 hours, though, and gain it when returning)............

Two and a half hours from SAT to MCO and just over three hours from MCO to SAT. There are two reasons for the difference in time, the first is airport saturation. Likely that you will have to wait on the ground for a while to get a takeoff slot in Orlando. The second is that travel westward generally takes a bit more time (wind, earth rotation, height of flight). The only airline that I know of that flies nonstop is SouthWest.
