In simplest terms, if you don't have a key to your front door, you can't get in. Likewise, the key to heaven if you will, is to accept just what the Son of God himself said. "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes unto my Father but by me." He is the key to entry, so accept the plan he laid out to be acceptable to a Holy and Righteous place (Heaven). That's the simple, easy to understand plan. Aside from that, here's a few examples of going to hell: Ps 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Ps 55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: Ps 86:13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. Pr 9:18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell. Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, Eze 31:17 They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; Eze 32:27 And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell ... Mt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. And one more to put it in perspective that Christ alone is the key: Re 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Repent of doing things your own way, of believing your own way is right. He holds the keys, not you. He died on a cross to take your sins (and mine) away, that we may have rightstanding before God our Father. This is fundamental Christianity. To top it off, He proved He is the Son of God, by raising from The dead. Ever met anybody else who's dead for 3 days, then gets up and walks again? Now you have. Jesus.

DOn't know..I'm going to hell..I've already promised to save seats for a number of people (now watch the DR's---LOL)

NO! Unsaved.......no one knows who is going where. Only God, and those who say they know whose going to hell are trying to do Gods job. Leave it to the Master!

No, you don't turn into nothing. Jesus holds the key to heaven and hell, but 'Hades' is the other part of the heavenly realm you don't hear too much about. Essentially, all unsaved souls who deny Christ have a huge place all perfectly waiting for them, and the name of the place is Hades. It's a holding room, with no interaction with God whatsover. When God decides time's UP!, then all those in Hades get the grand flush into the firey pit. So back to the basics. . . Christ has the keys, if you want to enter INTO Heaven, and not get ushered off to Hades, then you'd better get right with Him. Choice, as always, is yours. Chose - wisely - .

Eternal separation from God IS hell.

Revelation 20:11-15 says those who names are not written in the book of life will be cast in the lake of fire. Romans 3:22 says we are made right to God when we trust Him and let go of our sins. Saved means you trust God w/ you entire life. Unsaved means you have rejected your life to live in sin. also you dont know God. We all have a emptiness to fill---why not let it be of love.

Hell is a place that was not created for the purpose of human habitation, but for eternal punishment for the angels that had fallen known as the "sons of God" in Genesis 6 that came down and had sex with the "daughters of man". However, this very same Hell is used to punish humans who also reject God and His plan of salvation as its His desire that ALL men should be saved...but man chooses not to! Mark 9:43-48 reads, "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." This is a very vivid picture of the pain endured in Hell. Matthew 23:33 reads, "...how can ye escape the damnation of hell?" Matthew 25:46 reads, " And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." Revelation 20:10 describes the final destination of Hell (Hell itself will be thrown into the Lake of Fire)as, "... shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." Hell is a very real place and nothing to be joked about, used as a curse word, or taken lightly!

God eventually saves all from sin and shares His complete happy experience of eternity with everyone... God reconciles all to Himself through Jesus Christ, Who makes peace through His shed blood and crucifixion (Col 1:20). Jesus is the Lamb of God Who takes away all the sins of all the world (Jn 1:29). The creation itself, also, shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God (Rom 8:21). Hell's punishment is not forever but until the end of the eons. People don't sin enough during their mortal lives for God to choose endless punishment besides it would spoil the future of eternity to have a section continually reserved for endless torture... People are made by God to rebel against His ideal will for them and then offered a choice - forgiveness of their rebellion, or, punishment for their sins until they have paid the last penny... After punishment, those who went through torture in hell come to realise they need faith on God to succeed in life and they are converted into God's kingdom so that they cease from sinning and are rewarded for their compliance... There are two bible translations which uphold the doctrine of Universal Reconciliation with God, and the union of all beings into experience of God as the all in each of us. Is hell real? Studies show that over 90% of people in the world believe in a "heaven" while less than 50% believe in an eternal hell. According to the Bible, hell is most definitely real! The following verses describe the ultimate end of all who reject Jesus Christ. Also listed after revelation are other references to hell. Revelation 20:11-15 "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." The punishment of the wicked dead in hell is described throughout Scripture as "everlasting fire" (Matthew 25:41), "unquenchable fire" (Matthew 3:12), "shame and everlasting contempt" (Daniel 12:2), a place where "their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:44-49), a place of "torments" and "flame" (Luke 16:23,24), "everlasting destruction" (2 Thessalonians 1:9), a place of torment with "fire and brimstone" where "the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever" (Revelation 14:10,11)

'Technically' there are mentions of a thing which is like 'limbo', which is just a state of eternal unrest, really. Not quite hell, but in no way heaven.

The words translated as 'hell' in the bible are: Sheol (Hebrew) and Hades (Greek), these refer to the grave. As testimony to this the KJV translates the Hebrew word Sheol: 31 times as "hell", 31 times as "grave" and 3 times as "pit". (Hades is rendered "hell" each of the 10 times it appears.) The idea that people are tortured for eternity is closely linked to the belief that humans possess an immortal soul. Neither the words 'immortal soul', nor the idea that humans have such a thing is found in the Bible. (Ezekiel 18:4) Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die. (Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all. (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20)For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust. - According to the Bible, everlasting life is a gift given by God, the alternative is death AND hell,...the grave. (Romans 6:23)For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

Within the Christian faith, there is a significant amount of confusion regarding what happens after death. Some hold that after death, everyone “sleeps” until the final judgment, after which everyone will be sent to heaven or hell. Others believe that at the moment of death, people are instantly judged and sent to their eternal destinations. Still others claim that when people die, their souls/spirits are sent to a “temporary” heaven or hell, to await the final resurrection, the final judgment, and then the finality of their eternal destination. So, what exactly does the Bible say happens after death? First, for the believer in Jesus Christ, the Bible tells us that after death believers’ souls/spirits are taken to heaven, because their sins are forgiven by having received Christ as Savior (John 3:16, 18, 36). For believers, death is to be “away from the body and at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23). However, passages such as 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 describe believers being resurrected and given glorified bodies. If believers go to be with Christ immediately after death, what is the purpose of this resurrection? It seems that while the souls/spirits of believers go to be with Christ immediately after death, the physical body remains in the grave “sleeping.” At the resurrection of believers, the physical body is resurrected, glorified, and then reunited with the soul/spirit. This reunited and glorified body-soul-spirit will be the possession of believers for eternity in the new heavens and new earth (Revelation 21-22). Second, for those who do not receive Jesus Christ as Savior, death means everlasting punishment. However, similar to the destiny of believers, unbelievers also seem to be sent immediately to a temporary holding place, to await their final resurrection, judgment, and eternal destiny. Luke 16:22-23 describes a rich man being tormented immediately after death. Revelation 20:11-15 describes all the unbelieving dead being resurrected, judged at the great white throne, and then being cast into the lake of fire. Unbelievers, then, are not sent to hell (the lake of fire) immediately after death, but rather are in a temporary realm of judgment and condemnation. However, even though unbelievers are not instantly sent to the lake of fire, their immediate fate after death is not a pleasant one. The rich man cried out, “I am in agony in this fire” (Luke 16:24). Therefore, after death, a person resides in a “temporary” heaven or hell. After this temporary realm, at the final resurrection, a person’s eternal destiny will not change. The precise “location” of that eternal destiny is what changes. Believers will ultimately be granted entrance into the new heavens and new earth (Revelation 21:1). Unbelievers will ultimately be sent to the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15). These are the final, eternal destinations of all people—based entirely on whether or not they had trusted Jesus Christ alone for salvation (Matthew 25:46; John 3:36).
