During the whole debate over Illegal Immigration, why does it seem like the U.S. has put no pressure on some of the corrupt governments in these immigrants' homelands to provide for their own people before sending them Northwards?

Your question is idealistic, but impractical. Corrupt governments don't care about their people. They either oppress them or happily wave them goodbye. Providing for them is not something they greatly consider. Maintaining their ideological purity (at the same time hypocritically lining their pockets) is more important than their peoples' happiness.

why would the goverments want to have more undereducated, rapidly reproducing people that it can employ? using mexico as an example-how do you keep 70 million people gainfully employed in a 40 million person economy? solve that puzzle and you'll either be the richest person in the world, win the noble prize, or both

Well this government is as corrupt as any other so what do you expect? B4 we solve this, we solve get a honesy government north of the border.

Because those corrupt governments don't care about it's people. The people running those governments only care that their wants and needs are being seen to. Everything else, the people they govern included, comes in last place. Sometimes I think our own government officials are like that too.
