    It could have been overfilled. Ck the fluid when trans is warmed up, parked on level ground, idling in park. The torque converter could have got very hot from towing and boiled it. I would service the trans and hope for good luck. If there is lots of debris in the pan, the trans probably will need an overhaul soon.
