I am a woman and I say you should let the money go. I have always thought it ridiculous that anyone should have to pay someone just because they were no longer married to them. Live within your means and let him live his new life without you-you will never be happy with yourself if you want to continue to hang alimony over your exhusbands head. Just start a new life with a new man and forget it. Be a good person not a material woman.
Get a job and move on...HE HAS!
You'll never get it. They can not garnish VA benefits or SSD. You've lost that money. Cut your ties. Grieve the loss for a few days. Then move forward with your life. Best of luck!
Your answer? Get a job and cut your loses! Stop worrying about what he owes you, or how he lost his job. Be a strong, proud, independent woman and keep your focus on your kids!

You are entirely correct (+6) but less than 1 in 10 women agree with you. Then these parasites (so called women) wonder why no good man wants to be or stay with them? Most of them never considered themselves part of a team doing what they could for their family and country. They just wanted an easy life and a meal ticket and whatever is best for themselves. Notice she is also 53 and on disability at taxpayer expense. I wonder how "disabled" she really is? I wish you all the best and hope that you are duly rewarded in life.
