    It would look fabulous! Sheer pantyhose, fishnets, patterned pantyhose, patterned microfiber tights, opaque pantyhose, patterend opaque pantyhose... all of them would work. The only exception would be to avoid cotton tights. The clash in textures would not look good at all.

    It could, but as Miranda stated, it depends on the skirt and the tights. Personally, I would play it safe with an all black approach and stick to a mid-length or slightly shorter tailored skirt (pencil skirt for example), a turtleneck or mock turtleneck in cashmere, and boots or a pair of flats would look fabulous too. To add color I would probably opt for a scarf in a bold color.

    Just say no to the 80s, don't go superhero (pic 1), and er. . .this look is probably best on chicks (pic 2). I am told, however, that kilts can be sexy on guys ;)

    Yes, it would look great. There's a lot of flexibility in the description you just gave, though. You could look very sophisticated and hot, or you could look like a streetwalker. It all depends on the cut and length of the skirt and the hosiery you pick as well as the shoes you wear to finish the outfit off.

    They go together very well. I have worn brown tights that go with a natural leather color, and I have also worn thick cream colored and gray tights with a leather skirt. As the others said, boots work well with this combination.

    Stockings could be a good alternative. Gives a sexy style.
