This would be the Aveo (manual transmission, 2007 model year), which is rated at 9.1 (urban) / 6.2 (highway) litres/100 km. This is equivalent to: - 31.0 / 45.6 miles/gallon (Imp). - 25.9 / 37.9 miles/gallon (US). [Mileage data from GM Canada.] The spirit of those cheap little Suzuki-derivative econoboxes lives on (Metro, Sprint, Firefly), but now is realized in a product from GM-DAT (General Motors-Daewoo Auto and Technology).

If you can find one still around, it has to be the chevrolet chevette. it has four cylinders and averaged around 40 miles to the gallon. it had no power. sometimes, going up a hill, you had to stick your foot out and push like fred flintstone. but, it got great gas mileage!!

Driving my 1999 Monte Carlo, with about 190,000 miles, (it is hard to think of trading it in) I get 25 to 30 mpg. I would love another 6 cyl. with the same MPG. (another Chevy or a GM that I could afford to buy.) Unfortunatly I can only afford an Aveo.
