I visited a restaurant with awesome food and okay decor. It shut down, changed names and re-opened and now has an awesome decor and okay food. How long do you think it will take to go out of business?

Ok food seems to do well in the U.S. Think about how succesfull places like Applebee's, TGI Friday's and other chain restaurants do with "ok" food.

About a year. For the first few months it will make money. Following a period of flat revenues. Then the owners will reduce staff which will reduce the serve and the food will become barely edible. In the final stage the owners will not be able to pay the staff that is left. Staff will not show up. Menu items will not be available. One day you will walk by and the out of business sign will be posted. End of Story.
