  • Why do bigoted people write the worst questions?
  • What about gay women, are they twice as bad or twice as good? What about bisexuals, are they only bad drivers some of the time?
  • Firstoff: I'm not saying that this statement is correct but if it is then here is a SCIENTIFIC answer. There are a pair of regions of the brain (of which dilude me but they are in the centre of each hemishpere above the limbic system) that deal with knowing where to go from each landmark, i.e. directions. For some reason these are more developed in men than in women, perhaps due to when the 'hunter gatherer' men spent most of their time outside knowing to go where from where these regions developed better (before I get shot down by every woman here: this is one of many regions and the corpus collosum is far better in women than in men!). The hypothalamus is packed full of testosterone and as such the larger the hypothalamus the more the brain 'wires' up as a male. In the 70s a Dr Money conducted experiments, that disproved his theory, that showed that men on average had twice the size of the hypothalamus than that of women, so far all's good. Those that have had a sex change in their life had the opposite size of hypothalamus, those that thought they were of the opposite sex changed to be so. Again, so far so good. Now the hypothalamus doesn't come in two sizes, in comes in a bit of a range. Those women that have a large hypothLmus, large enough to have certain tendecies of men, will behave in a male fashion and vice versa. The most fundemental tendency is that of sexua preference. So those that have a hypothalamus size close enough to have sexual tendencies of the opposite sex but still realize that they are that sex will be homosexual. As an extremely over-generalization true, we have females and those who have a certain female 'wiring' will have a less developed sence of direction.
