The report is merely the officer's findings upon his arrival and his investigation. It in no way places blame or determines fault in a traffic accident. You may have been issued a citation in the matter which you feel is unwarranted and just like any other citation you can dispute it before the magistrate. Ultimately you will go before the court with the citation to dispute it or let your insurance companies dispute it with each other. Trying to change the officers report is like trying to carry water in a fish net. It is what he observed upon his arrival and what information he was able to gather from witnesses and those involved and what he found to be the contributing factors of the accident. Chances are that report was on its way to Austin before you even got a copy.

Why do you want to change it? Was it an accident involving another vehicle? Are you looking at a possible lawsuit or points on your license or having your insurance rates go up?
