  • Yes. Made-in-Germany cars are more expensive in the U.S and that means less expensive in Germany.
  • Yes they are. Growing up I lived in Germany. My grandparents lived in the United States and each of them drove a Mercedes. Every 3 years or so, they would fly to Germany, visit us and purchase 2 new Mercedes to be shipped back to the States because it saved them a lot of money to do this rather than purchase them in the US. (Personally, if I flew to Europe to buy a car I would only be able to afford a tricycle with 2 flat tires - lol).
  • Mercedes are about 22% more expensive in the United states. Mercedes will give you a 7% discount on the price of your vehicle if you use their European delivery system. The European delivery prices includes a few perks, but not airfare. I personally think Mercedes cost about the same as an American made car. A CLK 500 sportcoupe is $36668 US if you buy in germany. A similar luxury sportcar costs about the same if you buy in the US. In the US, the CLK costs $46,975
  • Yes, they are a lot cheaper, the higher the price of the car, the better the savings! And contrary to Paul´s statement, there is a special airfare deal being offered by Mercedes-Benz when you order the car. In addition you get a few other perks, like taxi transfers, tour of the factory, visit to the new mueseum, lunch at the factory, and hotel accommodations for either one or two nights in various hotels being offered. Write me at: hhaemmer@yahoo.com if you need more information and help with an actual travel itinerary around Europe, as I do this for a living and I am from Southern Germany and know what I am doing and talking about! • Yes, because they are manufactured in Germany. They are around 30 000 Euros there. Nevertheless; it is not very different from USA.
