What is the difference between option trading and commodity trading?

    Option trading comes the the right to buy but not the obligation. Commdity trading is the right and the obligation to buy. commodity trading also includes a definitive date.

    Stock option trading basically allows you to trade on a stocks potential movement. While commodity trading trade in natural resources, which are agriculture, energy and food products. Some of these resources are wheat, corn, soybeans, pork-bellies, gold, silver, heating oil and lumber.
