Help answer this question below.

I just installed kodak easy share to upload some photos from a kodak disc. Unfortunately now all of the photos on my computer are labeled and open as easy share jpeg. I'd like to delete the easy share software, will I lose my pics?

    Save them in a file on your desktop or in your picture's folder. :)

    this happens with most things on my computer, mainly music! but if you right click over the image you can go down to the button that says "open with..." and choose whatever. if you delete the programme make sure you ahve a back up, and another photo viewer you can open them with. but you should be fine. i still have all my music.

    Right click on a jpeg/gif and whatever other type of photos that are being opened by kodak's easy share and select open with. Then select the windows photo viewer thingie and then select the option "use as default program to open...." and click ok.

    Alternatively you could always cut and paste your photos somewhere else and then remove easy share. Easyshares photos should be stored in your my pictures folder in my documents.

    Dang I feel like tech support. :-
