  • By definition that IS involuntary manslaughter. Otherwise you could be charged with a more serious crime (murder etc.).
  • Doing something to any body that you know could cause harm or death is a crime. Doing something to a body that you think is dead is first of all sick and highly illegal. There is a name for it...forget what it's called but if you harm an already dead body, you can be charged with a serious crime (Even if the body was 100% dead prior to doing something to it.) I think it's called Necrophelia...I am sure I spelled that wrong but it's pronounced Neck-ro-fil-ia
