Can I recycle my old PlayStation 2 unit?

While I didn't find anything on the Sony site, there are electronics (or computer) recycling centers that may take your PS2.

If you live in a larger metropolitan area, there is usually a computer recycling center that may take your PS2. Here's one example I found in New Jersey that takes both computers and other electronic devices: http://www.supremerecycling.com/

I found the above by Google searching this: electronics recycling

step 1) Pick it up.

step 2) Walk around to the side of the house.

step 3) Throw it in the recycle bin.

step 4) Pat yourself on the back.

That is how you recycle a PS2 if you wanted to get rid of it.
