No,most good jobs you can get when you're 16,like working in fast food restaurants,etc.But the best jobs,like being a doctor,lawyer,etc,you have to go to college for.

Trust me I know what your saying no one wants to hire a 17 year old who has limits when you can hire an 18 year old with no limits for the same price. I ended up waiting until I was 18 but you could keep applying in fast food and such....

There are many good jobs that will take a qualified person under 18. Visit the placement office at your local school to find out what you are qualified for. They will help with writing a resume. If you are no longer in school, many employment agencies work with younger applicants. Do not pay a fee upfront. Only accept jobs that the employer pays the fee.

Not necessarily. That may be the age limit but even if you are 18 and you have no experience, they're not going to give you the job. You have to take it a step at a time; experience is the key. Take a small job whenever you can. Show yourself to be responsible. Then when you get to be 18, you'll really get a good job!

Eh, maybe work at a fast food restaurant? Or maybe at a eletronics store (like BestBuy) or do what my friend does, she's a cashier at Albertsons.

Try a call centre if a larger corporation. You'll be surprised just how far you can get! you'll learn the business from the bottom up.

Exactly! I went job hunting last weekend and everyone at the mall is hiring only 18 yr olds lol. but i have a job so im fine but im trying to get a better job. you just need to be patient and keep looking and you'll find one.

Listen being a teen means most of the jobs suck that is just the way it is you have to work from the bottom up. I have been working since I was 15 and all of my jobs till age 18 sucked ass, hell most of my jobs since then have too, just not as bad... sorry to be a downer

im also 17 and i have been looking for a job since i was 16 and i still cant find any, im in bradenton-sarasota area, if any of you are check ou craiglist.com, its a job posting where many people have found their jobs , i already had someone called me from there im gonna keep looking. good luck i know everyone need a lil extra cash
