- NEW!
Help answer this question below.
Well, I am hoping, in sorta late April to get off AnswerBag and go over to the fridge for a Pepsi.
I want to go to Vegas... believe it or not I have never been there and I would like to see what the fuss is about.
Hawaii next week, San Antonio in February, and PA in March. I usually have to travel about 10X per year for work, but I don't know where until a few months ahead of time. I have a free ticket I think I might use to go to New Mexico this summer (I love it there!)
I'm hoping to travel to either China or Thailand/Cambodia later this year.
What for? Just to spend some time with my family.
My wife, father, step-mother and I are going to Ireland on a Pub tour through-out the country, I am very excited! Looks to be very fun.
Dec 08 I plan on two days of flying to see my girlfriend in South Africa.
To the Arctic (Baffin Island) for my son's wedding...and to England for a reunion with several old school friends from primary school. We found each other online after 50+ years!!
Detroit, North Carolina (and South Carolina, same trip), California, Ohio, Jersey (yep, Jersey), and Canada.
Either China or Thailand/Cambodia.
Have never been on a holiday, doubt that this year will be any different.
No because i have bounded in studies
I would like to go on London on Business tour.
I am planning to go to Lijiang Ancient Town next month. It is at the foot of the Yulong Snow Mountain in northwestern Yunnan Province of China. In 1997, it was put on the World Cultural Heritage List.
you can get more about Lijiang on

Germany!
Crossing my fingers and wishing badly for this because it would only mean, we really are moving there for good :)
I WAS hoping to go to Tuscany. It was a tour called,
"Tuscan Spa week". BUT UNFORTUNATELY, the economy being what it is...I think my backyard is as far as I will travel this year. I have a Hottub, a loaf of Italian bread, some music, and a bottle of wine...so I quess I will just have to close my eyes and imagine I am there.
going to KL for the Hari Raya celebrations, the food, shopping, and duit raya or cash money from friends. my hotel at zon residences (http://www.zonhotel.com.my/) will be raffling off duit raya as well, and i hope to win it to have extra shopping money. but what i'm looking forward really is spending the end of ramadan, a muslim new year, with friends and family and having ramadan buffet. that would be something fun and memorable.
In September I'll be driving my son back to college from Pennsylvania to New Hampshire, a 6 hr drive, then in October my favorite neice is getting married so I'll be flying from Philadelphia to Little Rock to get my mom, then from Little Rock to Kansas City for the wedding.
Ireland.
To immerse myself in the culture and history, and EXPLORE!

I hope to hit country #70 this year for me with additions like Switzerland, Dubai, Thailand Singapor, Turkey.
Also, I am looking forward to my 2nd, extended Australia trip as I feel VERY comfortable there and can assimilate very quickly.
Next year will be a big one for me as I finish with my final two continents (Africa & Anarctica) and add probably 10-15 new countries to my list.
I always hope I bring something good to the people in foreign countries I visit and I hope I always take home something good from them.
My sister and I are taking a road trip from South Carolina to Sedona AZ in May. We plan to spend a day or three in New Orleans, a day in Dallas, a day in El Paso and maybe four or five in Sedona. I would love a side trip to San Diego - I want to see the SD Zoo and the marina.

We are going on a cruise in April to Cozumel and Belize. I can't wait - I absolutely LOVE traveling by cruise!
I am going to Turkey this year, And hopfully Greece with my friend. I would love too go back to Los Angeles though, I went for my 18th brithday the end of last year and it was great. Only thing was, I got food poisoning (Salmonella I think) From Dennys. I was in my bed/toilet and head over a bucket for about 4 days! I never made it too Universal Studios or sea world. Disney was good, I wouldnt say as good as Orlando though. Downtown Disney was better than Orlando though.
Auschwitz (Poland) and Berlin (Germany).
Paris & Berlin, Monterey, CA, Lake Tahoe and Bangkok
I am hoping to make it back to Mexico. I am thinking about somewhere like Cabo San Lucas or Puerto Vallarta this time instead of Cancun.
Realistically, it will be 2009 before I get to go, but I will start saving this year.
I have a couple of trips planned, I'll be going to Vegas around November and on a cruise around the Eastern Caribbean sometime in July.
I don't plan on going anyplace this year. I have traveled for the last 5...time to settle in for awhile.
I'd love to travel over to Australia, see how finances are? Hubby is probably going to go on his own.
I will do my usual thing visiting the surrounding towns in my state. I'm not big on extensive traveling because I have too much responsibility at home caring for people who are ill.
I think I'll head off to Mexico in a few weeks just to soak up some sun for a month or so...
I have no travel plans this year. I'm actually planning to stay home for once. I travel waaaay too often.
Um around February (in between basketball and track season)my dad, step-mom, and sister, and me, plan to go to London for vacation..
any tips or advice on where to stay, places to visit?
Hopefully I will be going to NYC at the end of Feb if I have a job by then to attend the East Coast AB Convention there.
Cruisin in February!! Can't wait!!
We are planning to go to Key West, Florida in April for a wedding of a friend. Then, we are hoping/planning to go to Ireland in the summer. We were going to go last year for our 10th wedding anniversary, but we moved, so it was postponed until this year.
I was going on a missionary trip to India with a group from my church, but when they mentioned bringing Depends because the food can cause digestive problems and if you're on a bus that doesn't stop . . . plus some areas have "squat" toilets in the ground. I'm having second thoughts. Superficial, I know, but I don't want to spend the last 3rd of my life debilitated by something either.
