  • Have you run the video set up? Make sure your settings are set to the correct cable. If you are using VGA cables with the HDMI setting, you will run into troubles. Also make sure your TV is set to the correct input channel. Try turning on your TV and then cycling through all your input channels, pausing a while at each channel to see if they work.
  • I assuming you mean the composite cables (yellow, white, red that came with the PS3). If so, jiggle the connector around inside the PS3, mine did that too, it's just a loose connection.
  • When I set mine up for the first time, I used the HDMI cable, the system detect the cable & set to high resolution after I was asked to confirm the setting. I later moved the system to another TV using the A/V cable and could not get a picture. I returned it back to the other TV, reset the settings to low resolution(no HDMI) and then the A/V cable started working on all TVs.
