Attitude holds strong still. Of course it's totally bogus since most of the people I meet in Oregon are FROM California.

Especially when so many Californians come up here to live and complain about the tax structure.

Unfortunately, we have the same slogan here in Washington. They have driven up realestate values which raises taxes. Of course if your selling, you make money, but if your buying??????????

Here in Hillsboro / Beaverton, more up in the metro area, I know a lot of people who have the same opinion. I do. I can't stand seeing the little girls running around with Hollister "I love California" shirts. I mean, if you love it so damn much, go away!

yes, at least some of them do. i've asked quite a few people about this and there seem to be a lot who don't feel that way. i think the main reason some of the people her don't like californians is because they have really driven up the price of real estate. the attitude of "cali is the best place ever" comes secondary, in my opinion. and, i do find that a bit annoying.

I live in Eugene and haven't heard that one in a long time. Of course, we're not getting the influx of Californians the way we seemed to be when that sentiment was popular.

I can't speak for the whole state, but I think that attitude is history.
