I have, indeed, flashed my BIOS, back in 2003. I'll never forget the experience, LOL.
Hope it's warm there.
I take a computer class and I have a computer at home.
So I flashed mine TWO TIMES almost every week.
I had an IBM once that i upgraded to a faster CPU and it wouldn't boot up, didn't make sense. I found all the drivers and noticed a BIOS upgrade. So i flashed my BIOS and it worked great after that.
Yes, more than once. I never had a problem.

i tried when a machine started flashing characters like the matrix instead of showing the bios warm up... it looks so weird, not exactly like the matrix(green code) it is all 16 basic colors and really funny characters some of them are not in the ascii set... i replaced the battery and everything, still did it
Yep. It was much easier than I though it would be.
I do it all of the time, with various machines, and types.
